We will shortly be turning on the highscores email system. You will be notified by email if your #1 score in any game is beaten, complete with full commiserative text.

At the bottom of each email will be a link to disable any future highscores email.

If anyone does NOT want to be emailed at all, please email support@pokiemagic.com and we will turn it off for you now.

At present only those with #1 scores being replaced are receiving emails indicating their score has been beaten.

We would like to know whether anyone is interested in the emails being expanded so that everyone in the highscores system who has not "opted out" would receive an email when a new #1 score is posted (about 2 emails a week presently).

Yes, everyone on the highscores list who has not opted out receives an email when a new #1 score is created.

There was an earlier thread devoted to those who wished to opt out. Down the bottom of every email the highscores system now sends, there is an "opt out" link. Click on it and no more email will be sent.

As its uncertain when the next #1 score is going to occur, anyone else who is not receiving the emails please advise.

The highscores duplicate email problem should now be resolved. The problem was due to the game in question having a full complement of highscores (100), and this configuration had not previously been tested with a new #1 score being added and emails being automatically sent.

Actually I do not think the problem has been fixed. I just got two emails advising someone called Max now has the top score in Bunny Bucks. One says its Max the other one says there is a new leader. Talk about in your face !

The "fix" has now been "fixed".

For the record: there is a new version of Bunny Bucks on the way, which pays a little more than the old one.

This is the only reason for the new #1 score - the system needed testing. Members of the GTF should expect a download link in the near future.
