Hey Sue. It looks like you are stuck (459 posts)!! Does that mean Admin is holding you back so they can overtake you?

By the way, Hello to you all - slight absence due to The Practice being back on TV last night!! How is everyone?

I don't know if you got the same one we have in SA - it is a repeat about the diamonds - now showing for the third time!! I hate it when it does that!!

Now don't know what to watch - may have to watch Foxtel in my room - anyway, need an early night.

Went out today (naughty naughty) however, lost and then took $50 out and then turned that into $550 !!! I couldn't believe it - all in a matter of 30 minutes!! The man next to me and I couldn't believe it - free spins after spins, etc. /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dance.gif /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hurray.gif /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dance.gif /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hurray.gif

Ann

Spyone1 (Greg)
15-04-2003, 09:35 PM
Not really, Ann. My daughter had her boyfriend over for the weekend, sent my oldest son to melbourne to be with his mum for the holidays, set up a computer network at home, took the better half to the hospital for a false alarm..

Pretty normal weekend really. *NOT*

How was your weekend??

Sue
15-04-2003, 09:37 PM
Ann I have passed on your Pm's to Admin, the process of moving and setting up house takes awhile and I think he is the only one with the magic codes. I would help if I could but alas.....

Annsheree
15-04-2003, 09:42 PM

My weekend was okay, my daughters are aged 9, 6 and 3...so it was an interesting weekend to say the least and school holiday's have just begun /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif

15-04-2003, 09:44 PM
Um....yes to all the above, Ann.

36.5 weeks pregnant...due Mothers Day.

This will actually be number 8, one died years ago.

Just to make this story even MORE convoluted, the boyfriend USED to be my step-son. *grin*. seriously!!!!!

Annsheree
15-04-2003, 09:46 PM
oh so sorry to hear about the child you lost /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

OMG used to be your step-son ROTF isnt there enough boys to go aroudn where your daughter is? /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif TOO FUNNY

But good luck with number 8, i hope the birth goes well.

Sue

Ah Greg, Ann maybe needs some hints on how to keep her little Tiddly Winks enterained during the day, have you got any?

My suggestion is baking, bicies Ann. We used to make Anzac's cant muck then up very easily. Have you tried that?

Spyone1 (Greg)
15-04-2003, 09:49 PM
Thanks, Ann, but it was 21 years ago this Xmas, so I am long over it.

That was how I met my daughter (actually, adopted daughter) in the first place. He moved on with his mum, she decided to move in permanently. Go figure, huh??!!

And thanks, it should be fine, fingers, toes, eyes and everything else that will cross is crossed.

Annsheree
15-04-2003, 09:53 PM
umm yep sue we already have bicies comming outta our ..well we got too many lol.
I cant do alot with feeling ill most of them time, i feel bad about that but any ideas are welcome lol, we made playdough and well lets just say i aint doing that again, i spent the next half hour picking little bits off the floor when they decided to make fake food and then have a food fight ROTF.

Dunno if it is any help, but my three girls used to love playing cubby-house....using four dining room chairs and two doona's spread over the top. They used to have "tea parties" and all sorts of things happening in there....

I don't envy you one bit. I have seven kids here next holidays, but only one right now!!

Spent this morning at the local Westfield - together with school kids. There was a stabbing there last night - you can't go anywhere nowadays.

Then went to work and tonight did some food shopping.

Having dramas with my husband's ex and needing to look up legal **ap. I wish there was a "sensible" system rather than "legal" system!! Anyone else had that trouble? /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/furious.gif

Spyone1 (Greg)
16-04-2003, 08:32 PM

Ended up standing up for myself and it worked. Must have been the first time in my life.

Petals
16-04-2003, 08:39 PM
We have ended up on the legal system circuit, i.e. Family Court, however, on the Child Support Agency circuit.

Ho Hum!! Makes me regret sometimes being a woman as to what we can put men through!! Enough misery - my husband is absolutely worth it.

Have you had many wins with them? The latest we are experiencing is she is trying to get MY income included in the formula!! Having to read the unhelpful website for info!!

Sue
16-04-2003, 08:59 PM
Its hard too Peta being in your position as well. The new woman so to speak. Its very hard on the kids too of course, only hope you can get some good advise.

Spyone1 (Greg)
16-04-2003, 09:01 PM
It doesn't happen. Your income is nothing to do with the CSA income calculations. I know, cause my ex was claiming from me, even though her new hubby was on a six figure income and mine was on a four figure income.
They don't take other partners incomes into account, unless they have changed the laws in the last 12 months.

Petals
16-04-2003, 09:28 PM
The kids are great - got a good relationship with them.

They are now experiencing first hand the ex's behaviour and they are not liking it and rebelling.

Have had the 10 year old run away from school twice due to incidences with her mother - now she is putting a plastic bag over her head trying to "get attention (this is the psychologist talking)". However, it is all my husband's fault about it - even though he hardly sees them!!

Ho Hum.

Anyway, she has been behaved for a week or so now - school counsellors and local hospital counsellors helping her.

It is a VERY tough situation - sometimes they play one against the other however, most kids do that.

They rang tonight to organise catching up - obviously for Easter Eggs!!!

Spyone1 (Greg)
16-04-2003, 09:35 PM
LOL about Easter eggs.

It's a shame they can't live with you. Then the shoe would be on the other foot, as the saying goes.

We have a weird setup. My kids (previous marriage) are with one of us until Year 5 school...when they go to the other parent for a year. At the end of year 6, they decide which parent they want to live with during High School...and that is the end of their decisions on where to live until they finish high school!!!
So far it has worked.

Petals
16-04-2003, 10:14 PM
Wow - what an unusual arrangement. Obviously you both believe in raising your child with either party's involvement. Hats off to you - very brave and admirable.

Spyone1 (Greg)
16-04-2003, 10:20 PM
LOL. Long story, but I got left with all four kids when she left. Then I sent one down to her (poor darling was missing mummy so much she got sick). THEN Kim got pregnant and one decided she doesn't like babies, so off she went. (and she really DOESN'T like babies....ANYBODIES babies).

The third (and only boy) went down in 2001 for year 5, the oldest girl went down this year. The boy is now up here for high school (his decision).

It was either we cooperate with each other (as parents) or wreck our kids lives....it wasn't worth the price to fight.

Spyone1 (Greg)
16-04-2003, 10:36 PM

Besides, I AM an adult....aren't I? Just cause I like computer games, eating lollies, have naps during the day and drink from bottles doesn't mean anything, does it??

ROTF what is it with men and boobies?
problem is men have a habit of playing with which ever one is closer to them and that disastorous for us ladies!! It is a true fact that playing with them often makes them increase in size (sometimes a lil, sometimes alot) but you men go and play with one more than the other and we are left lopsided! ROTF
RUT RUH feel that big stick comming towards me hehe

He Sue (fellow local pokie magic gal)!!

Haven't had much luck at the Clovie therefore, prefer the Somerset or the Settlers - not that I really have much luck there either.

Want to try the new Mawson Lakes pub shortly - just opened this week.

Give the Modbury Hotel, Bremen, Roulettes and the TTG a miss - extremely bad luck hotels - never have a win there.

Do you go during the day or at night?

Spyone1 (Greg)
16-04-2003, 11:49 PM
Not guilty, Ann. I pay attention to both as much as I can, simultaneously if possible!!! *grin*

Annsheree
16-04-2003, 11:53 PM
hmm think you got me mixed up...i not sue, im ann LOL. fairly new here but quickly catching up on the posts hehe.

Yeah i think the mawson lakes one will be really nice but prolly will be full of rich snobs considering how expensive it is to live in there (2 bedroom cottages average rent is like $250 a week, i have a friend who live in one of those and i tell ya they are nothing special for the money! no dushwasher, ducted air or anything like that just a standard 2 bdrm place).
Settlers is okay if you can get a machine, everytime ive been there you gotta race the granma's to the machines ROTF...seriously you do as once they get on they never get off playing 1 credit 1 line all damn night LOL.
I dont go anymore for a while now, was bad for a while but once i discovered these pokie magic games it has kept me from going (a good thing!), plus i been quite ill lately but i used to go at night time, how about you?

Annsheree

/webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif OMG ROTF, your serioualy a nutter /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif, but its all fun. Thinking i will drop the boobie subject now before i get in trouble with admin when he gets back HAHA

Petals
16-04-2003, 11:57 PM
Ann, I am sooooooo sorry - I am terrible with names plus I am very tired and eyes are popping out of my head.

I hate the oldies playing at the Settlers as well - 1 x 1 line is just impossible.

I am like you, play toooo much - need to stop or slow down. However, until I am mentally right (after all the crap in my life) I won't be able to cold turkey it.

I usually go out at night - funny but we could have played machines next to each other without us even knowing it!!

My ex-boyfriend goes to the Clovie so I like to avoid there!!

What's your favourite machine at the pubs?

Annsheree
17-04-2003, 12:05 AM
no probs about the names...and if your so tired girl go to bed LOL.
Yes we very well could have been sitting nect to each other many many times and just never knew, small world!

would have to say at the pubs i prefer the queen of the nile, but at the casino i loveeeee mystic garden (i believe its called, 6 reels with a possible 4 eyes in the middle) pays really well /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif i bet high when i do play, its a 1 center and i bet 200 and holy crap up came dragon, eye, eye, eye, eye, dragon and i collected $3000 almost fainted..then spoiled my kids rotten the next week). How bout you what game you prefer?
By the way i may only be young but i am queen of crap in life believe me....i am a very good listener and cherish my friends (would give the shirt off my back if it would help them) so if you ever need to just chat feel free to pm me, maybe one day soon when life eases up for both of us we might catch up at the summerset or something /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Hey, there ya go. Pokie Magic brings people together LOL.

Ditto for me. You ever want to PM me, go right ahead. I even have ICQ identified if you use it. It says I am not online but don't necessarily believe it, I go invisible permanently.

I think I prefer Indian Dreaming at the moment....or Queen of the Nile playing 10 credits x 5 lines, instead of 1 credit x 20 lines.

Spyone1 (Greg)
17-04-2003, 12:15 AM

Never really have any luck on the Mystic Dragon game - do love Dolphin Treasure game!! That's a great win - well done.

It would be great to catch up - let me know next time you are going out and we can perhaps meet.

Thanks for your ear!! It is nice to know someone who likes the pokies and can talk about them freely.

Nightynight!!
