Version 16.1 Updates

About half the games have been upgraded to version 16.1 http://www.pokiemagic.com/downloads.php

Changes:
-Games will run fullscreen at resolutions higher than 800x600 for the first time (widescreen excepted). You can force the game to always run in a window via a setting in the Game Management Console (bank screen).

-Ultrafast play mode has been introduced, spin speeds can be more than doubled for those who don't like to wait around.

-You can now have the games play MP3 music files of your choosing instead of the default MIDI tracks. To change the music to MP3, simply copy your legally owned MP3 tracks to a games install folder and name them PAY1.MP3 PAY2.MP3 PAY3.MP3 PAY4.MP3 PAY5.MP3 - you can also add an MP3 track for feature music - it must be called FEATURE1.MP3

-You can double click on the credits meter to instantly bank your excess credits (10,000 credits will be kept in the machine and the rest banked).

-The games are ready for highscores Clan rankings, which we are still completing the server work for.

-The bank screen (Game Management Console or GMC as we call it) has been substantially revised. The GMC now offers the option for the game to take screenshots of any win over a value you set. These screenshots are stored in a Screenshots folder under your installation folder.

-You can manually take a screenshot at any time from the options menu.

-There is a new option which looks like || on the menu bar - this will pause the game during any spin or feature when clicked.

-Bunny Bucks and Monster Money 5 and 6 reel versions now pay more. Other games payout rates have not been altered.

-The "Internet" menu has been renamed "Highscores". You can now view your online highscores profile from this menu (you
need to be online at the time and a participant in the highscores program).

All games are being upgraded, the process should be finished soon.

Being only new to pokiemagic i'm hoping for some help, we're trying to download the new version of monster magic to upgrade our early version but I cant seem to get the new one. Do i need to uninstall the previous version before downloading the new one??

Ishy try emptying your internet cache, then redownload. Then yes try fully removing the old version (including having to manually remove the folder it leaves behind after the uninstall) and then install the new version. Should be fine then /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Help again...sorry, no matter how hard I try, i cant get the new version of MM, keeps downloading the old one!!! i'm not good with computers so keep the solution as simple as possible...all looks no brains here...thanks again guys.

Hi Ishy. Have you tried uninstalling it from Add/remove programs, Also in program files (delete the MM folder) and also the installation (where you downloaded it to)?
If that doesnt work, try installing it to a different folder. Hope that helps.

Also open internet explorer or whatever you run to browse the web, click on " TOOLS ", in the dorp box highlight and click " OPTIONS ". A screen will appear, Down the bottom of the screen you will see a button " CLEAR HISTORY " Click that button, if a little box pops up saying ya know are you sure or whatever just click yes or OK ( depends on what OS your using ).

Gotto " MY COMPUTER " double click on " CONTROL PANEL " about 4 or so icons along you will see " ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS " double click on that. A new screen will open up with a list of all the programs you have installed. Scroll down the list until you find the pokie magic game you want to remove and click once on it. When its highlighted there should be something like 2 buttons " INSTALL" and " REMOVE " click on the remove one and click yes. Next all you need to do is gotto where you installed it, usually placed in a folder called " PROGRAM FILES " Under another folder called " Pokie Magic Monster Money " Delete this whole folder and that it. Make sure you have also removed the old install file to. If you are like me you will have a folder that you created called downloads or something that you put all you downloads in. if not Do a search for pmmonstermoney. delete all entries listed and then download again making sure you know where you put it.

Dino Dollars 5&6 v.16.1 will be uploaded tonight. We are aware of many users having problems with Dino Dollars, particularly on autoplay after about 1/2 hour. The game looks the same, but has been rewritten internally to remove the problems.

The feature has been modified slightly, the first feature now pays at X3 instead of X2, and there are now 7 Cretaceous (red eggs) spins instead of 5. We will advise later when the upload is complete.

Bankers Bullion 5 & 6 Reels have been upgraded to version 16.1

Changes:
- All the normal v16.1 updates
- F10 key now programmed as a fastbank shortcut - banks all of your credits in the machine over 20,000.
- Up and Down arrow keys programmed to change your bet level.
- Some bugs fixed.
- The high resolution screen scaling has been completely reworked, and should be faster on most machines.
- Particular to this game, the robber will no longer appear on the middle reels during a "Safe Respin" when a feature is playing.
