Highscores Leaders

The current overall highscores leader is now shown at the top of the main highscores ranking page.

The leaders position changed several times today, between Little Angel and Paul.

You may have noticed that the positions changed last thing this afternoon despite the fact that neither user had posted a score in that time. This is because a third user (Sue as it happens) posted a score in a game in which she then ranked ahead of Paul, but behind Little Angel. Thus Little Angels overall average ranking did not decrease, but Pauls did.

We offer this information to clarify what may have been confusing some users. If further clarification is required, please let us know.

It makes the scores more interesting when any user can affect the overall #1 spot by posting a single score /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

For general statistical purposes the highscores page also shows how many spins all users have played in all games to the date you view the page.

If you analyse the current almost 32 million spins played - it amounts to approximately 370 days of CPU time on a single computer if played in ultrafast mode. Which is CPU time well spent of course /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif
