Spyone1 (Greg)
02-05-2003, 08:00 PM
LOL. no, there actually was one...happened to a friend of mine who works for Centrelink.

She worked in Pensions as it was then. A pensioner rang her up, very inebriated (read DRUNK!!!!!) and said, in a very nasty tone of voice:
"Where's me ****ing money?"

My friend had just about had enough of the day, and for some reason snapped! Her reply, immediately, was:
"In the ****ing bank"!!!
upon which she slammed the phone in his ear.

She went and told her supervisor what had happened. He informed her that, if the client complained, she would most certainly get the sack.

The client rang back about 20 minutes later...and asked to speak to the supervisor. He was put through, and after the call, the supervisor called my friend in and told her she was the luckiest person he had ever met.
The client called to tell the supervisor to "hang on to that girl, that was the fastest correct answer I have ever had from your department".

She is still with the department.

Nice to meet you too Tanya, I only tend to drop in now and again but I'm here in spirit.

Strangely enough the best eyes I've ever seen was during my shortesat term of employment. I was serving a girl / young lady at donut king when she went to hand me the money she looked straight at mine and I was gob smacked, they were the deepest crystal blue I'd ever seen. Unfortunately at this time I was trying to hand her the tray with 4 muggachinos and various other items on it. It didn't make it across the counter and I was kindly released from employment that evening.

going to get boring now...
