Speed up reel spinning

Click 'Start' button then 'Run' and type in dxdiag.
Select Display and disable DirectDraw Acceleration.
This should speed things up. Note: Other software
may require the Acceleration to be enabled.

Mike has since advised that the problem was actually because he was running his system in 24/32bit colour. The game may run faster on some systems if 16bit colour is used. (See Windows Control Panel > Display Properties)

FYI: the game runs better on Intel processor based systems than AMD based systems. We have yet to find an AMD system on which the reels spin fluidly and in the proper 3 second timeframe.
