Ok i had a thought about these highscores ....this may have already been said before im not sure....
I think admin could keep a record of everyones performance percentage just before the reset on 31st march.... if you are then doing more resets through the year ie; 3mthly, each time before that reset keep a copy again of everyone Performace percentage.... and keep doing that up until the New Years Eve reset, then when the new year begins and you have to post up the 2004 leader you can add each persons 4 performance percentages for the year then divide by 4 and get there adverage percentage for the entire year... and that would give you your winner /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

Just a thought for those who may lead for some of the year but not towards the end of the year. Wouldnt be fair if say greg lead the performace for first 9mths but then paul leads the last 3mths and therefor got written up as 2004 leader. /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

Paul, don't get us wrong. We love competition on these games however, some of us only have one machine running as that is all that will accept the games.

Much less chance of power spikes through your system.

Mine get turned off when lightning is in the area, otherwise running 24/7.

It probably costs 50c or so a day to leave the games running full time as they use the CPU 100%.

That makes sense, Peter, specially if you have a variable fan, which revs up when your system is using lots of resources. With the games trying to use 100% of the CPU, the CPU would be doing quite a bit of work.

With the upcoming Highscores resets, there are bound to be more than the usual number of highscores emails flying about. These are automatically generated when a new #1 score is reached in any game - notifying the loser of the ranking that they have been demoted.

If you have not already switched off your highscores emails but would like to, please email support@pokiemagic.com. Conversely, if you have switched your notification off but would like it back on please advise.
