Avatars and Star rankings are already being tested for the highscores, we are now soliciting new ideas for the highscores.

What would you all like to see added to the highscores? Any new ideas??

hmmm maybe a silly one...but what about on the main game rankings screen, next to the dollar amount a column that says "In the lead by" and it shows how much they are in front of 2nd spot by? /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

Hard to think of everything as you guys do a wonderful job on that page already, think it's perfect the way it is.

Or what about on each individual persons page it could have there ranking on each game at current stage and also what their ranking was on that particular game before the last reset?

but i do like the idea of my 2nd suggestion, so atleast we can see if we are having any better luck than last time. Maybe ranking and the dollar amount of last time would be better as then you can see if it took more of less of a win to get a better ranking this time around. /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

Thanks for the suggestion Ann.

It would be a difficult thing to create, as believe it or not your scores don't actually get ranked until someone requests a page, ie its all generated on the fly in real time. Your actual ranking is not stored anywhere for any game.

Would it be possible for a players last 10 scores (or hightest 10 scores) for a particular game to be stored somewhere in their game

well admin...how bout rather than the ranking, just the highest score you had for each game before the last reset??
that way not only is it a challenge to beat others but to also beat the score you got yourself last time around /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

What about deleting the older scores you have posted and only keeping the current score, i.e. only one score per person per game?

good thought there peta...would make it easier too for others with lower scores to still get on the board....because as we get more and more people buying these games even a top 200 wont be enough for some.

Acting on Yvonnes request, the 2003 performance rankings now show the top 50 players.

Another minor change... scores in the "Last 20 scores" at the bottom of the main highscores page that are ranked #1 when posted will now show in green to highlight their presence, as has just happened with Dragons nail biting $300 odd dollar win over Saints in ED1SE.

Another user request has been accommodated, each users profile now also shows the last 20 scores entered by that user under the graph.
