i have downloaded pokie magic games(lucky stars)downloaded no problems instalation no problems when installed cannot get game to run computer is freezing every time on start
game.....what is minimum requirement for running these great games.....col
Hello Col, I moved this thread into the Support forum, because you are needing some help. I dont know if you have read the "Admin off line" thread in this forum, but Admin is having some major troubles with phone lines and cant get online at all. Sorry for the delay but he will get back online as soon as he can. Someone else here though may have some advise for you. We have a few clever ones amongst us that know a thing or two about computers.

I am having the same problem. I can download the games not a problem but am unable to play them

The only thing i can think of is maybe its Win ME. ALthough im running Win ME and i dotn have any problems i have heard of others with ME having problems with the games.
Actually i just thought of another thing that was mentioned in another forum here..... Make sure you have downloaded the full file. Someone here was having problems and it turned out when downloading the file... as an example the download size was supposed to be 2.4 MB but it only downloaded 2.3 MB to their puter. So i guess go to the downloads page here and check the file size against the size of your downloaded file and make sure they are the same, if not then re-download it again.
Other than that you will probably have to wait for Admin to be back online.

on my harddisk show's when you right click properies on d\loaded program size 2.77 mb size on hard disk is 2.78 mb does that help .col. /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/15GDAY.gif

Please ensure you have:
> Windows 98 or later
> 64mb RAM or greater
> You MUST have DirectX 8.1 or greater
> Processor 300MHz or greater
Thats about it as far as PC requirements go.

that'ts made it stranger admin i have all that and more
win.me
m\b450.mhz 100 clock speed
192.mb ram .and directx 9

COL i think the download size is your problem. The size should be 2.8 MB according to the download page and thats not what you've got. So i think you need to re-download and check that you get the entire file this time /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

admin,anybody they say it might be winME but some people are using winME with no problems with the games i dont hve any problems with other game on my pc no problems with any viruses or windows applications i have even d\loaded differant pokie magic games and they all freeze there has to be a answer or a fix with respect to admin thers nothing
wrong with my computer.please help these would have to be the best poker machine games available.col.

Unfortunately without seeing the pc in question, the only recommendation we can make is that you upgrade it to Windows XP. (NOTE: this is not a guaranteed solution, it does normally fix the problem though).

i tried to download egyption dreams day and i think you may be right with download sizes the game said download size 2.4mb when dialogue box appeared to commence download it says 2.33mb could you chec that for me and see if you get 2.33 download.....thanks in advance.col
