Pokie Magic Illegal Operation

Hi this is my problem.

Every time i try and start any of the pokie magic games i get an illegal operation "POKIEMAGICC caused an exception eedfadeH in module <unknown> at 0000:00000000" and when i hit close an application error pops up saying "Exception EDXSoundError in module POKIEMAGICCC.EXE at 00095526.
Primary Buffer cannot be made."

I have a Yamaha opl3-sax sound card in a laptop. I have updated the drivers and re-installed the games to no avail.

Dont worry. I fixed it. I reinstalled direct X. It was a problem with direct sound. I installed Direct X 8.1 and it is now fine.
