Hi there all,
I would like to say that if us users give pokiemagic ideas about our thoughts in the way a pokie machines are design for ideas that us users should have the priverlage to have a full copy and not have to registered just to buy our ideas back, geez our thoughts should be worth something in return what ya think peeps, I think that if users give their ideas that they should be repaid for giving their thoughts and to receive something in return like free games only to people that give thoughts about and how a game should be designed, so that way it makes it fair. /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think you will find that users contributing significant amounts to a particular game are in fact given a free copy. Just ask anyone who thought of a game name.
Your post seems to sprout from some underlying discontent, but given that you are not a registered user, it is difficult to understand the source.

PLEASE NOTE I AM NOT A MEMBER OF THE POKIE MAGIC TEAM.
I have received two freebies from Pokie Magic for contributions to their games. One for some technical contributions that actually took me several hours to complete (and were unsolicited by the Pokie Magic team...i.e. they didn't ask me to do the work) and one for winning a competition. The second one I passed on to someone else, having already purchased the game.
I am happy to contribute my ideas, assistance, comments, technical feedback and other such things free of charge, gratis, for nothing and without expectation of any return except for better games, which I will then purchase (and already HAVE purchased) at the advertised rate.
(Admin, anytime you want that in writing, lemme know *grin*).
If I make a suggestion that is then developed into a full-blown Pokie Magic game (and yes, it has happened a couple of times that I am aware of), I am pretty proud that it is one of MY comments that is providing enjoyment for both myself and other people....AND that is all the payment I would expect!!
At risk of offending some people, if you think your ideas are worth so much, go get some programming experience, spend heaps of your own money to buy the necessary development programs, webspace, etc, etc....and create your own games.
I think you will also find that, somewhere buried in the legal beagle section of this forum, that suggestions or whatever posted on this forum become the intellectual property of Pokie Magic. If it isn't there, it SHOULD be!!!
A final note... Lets see Billy Gates and the Microsoft Corporation offer free registration of their products just because someone made a suggestion on how they might be improved..... I doubt it will be in my lifetime.
Sorry to waffle, everybody. Comments like that get up my hooter!!
I do agree whole heartedly Greg.
I was just wondering how Xtremer would have any idea of how many codes are given away or not as Admin doesnt usually publicise when a free rego code has been issued.
Sorry Xtremer but if you read back through the forums you will see that there have been a few codes issued that have been publicised here to people who have made a considerable contribution.
Also dont forget that the idea is just the start and then the team follows through with the work. I am sure most ideas posted here on this forum were not done with the intent of gaining a free game and that most of the registered users appreciate the quality of the games and are willing pay for them.

I think you should give credit for us inputting.
Just the name or just the idea would amount to about 1% of you finally getting the game to publication so take 1% off $23 or so dollars and you get 23 cents discount!!!
I agree with the other posts just made - this is a business to the Pokie Magic team and they have to work day and night to make it work for all of us.
Truthfully, the money spent to buy a new game amounts to a whole hours pay and the amount of time I would have spent that in the pub is probably 5 minutes and the amount on my computer of about ten hours.
Keep making, I will keep paying even if I sat there and did the programming (of which I don't know anything of).
Well done Pokie Magic - you deserve to be successful with the promotion of a product that avoids people entering the casino/pub scene!!

Peta...your first comment "I think you should give us credit for inputting" doesn't fit the rest of the email.
Was that supposed to be a quote??
Sorry, just thought I would ask.
LOL about the 23 cents off....I would be embarrassed to even think about asking for that!!

Hi Greg. Wasn't actually agreeing with Xtreme - just carrying on from others whereby saying a name and suggesting a basic theme was only a very small part of releasing the product.
I would LOOOOVE to be able to do more however, I am an expert in other areas then computer programming!!
The 1% I feel only represents what the name and idea contributes - therefore only getting 1% off would be fitting!!

LOL. Ok. Believe me, I know nothing about programming whatsoever (as my good friend Dragon could confirm) but that doesn't stop me contributing. Sure, most of the time I contribute absolute drivel, but I still contribute.
Don't let a lack of computer programming knowledge stop you!!!

Hmmm heres my usually useless thoughts again /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3rofl3.gif
Xtremer...Why should you/anoyone get games free simply because you give ideas for games?? Seriously i think the only reason Pokie Magic Admins ask for game suggestions is so they can attempt to make games that everyone is interested in playing/buying. If they just made all the games that personally suited them how many sales would they get?? not everyone likes the same sort of game.
And yes i have also recieved a free game recently! If you get involved in the forum you will see that sometimes Admin posts things up ...in the past there was one to find the hidden screen shot of bunny bucks (b4 it was released) and whoever found it 1st would get the game free....then there was one put up that if someone wanted to design an icon for a game (due to the old ones being drab) that they would get a game free..(which is the comp i won).
So please note Xtremer that these guys here are great people and always try to take our thoughts on what we prefer to play into account and do give freebies away, but you just gotta be around here often enough to get involved to notice that.
As for testing the games, well we should all feel lucky that our thoughts are valued enough that Admin lets up test them and also getting a preview before they are released.
I for one really really enjoy testing the games...reason being i have made alot of friends here and once you get to know admin better you will see he is a great guy, also these games have changed my life in a big way (saving me $600 a week that used to be spent on the real things)...so i love being able to give feedback on the games and any bugs in them! It helps them by having people test the games and seen as they have helped me so much (saving money) i will always in return test games with thorough feedback and NOT expect nothing back in return!!
Oh by the way anyone who wants to complain about wanting freebies for giving suggestions etc and about the prices of these games.............$99 is a great price for 11 games that you then have FOREVER!!...if you dont think so then go put $99 in a real machine and see how long you get to play for, you certainly dont get free updates, unlimited spins or a never ending back account on the real things.
Well enough of my blabber /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3rofl3.gif

I have to agree with you ann, $600 is a bit low for me i was shocking till I found these games....
Keep up the good work to all people who submit ideas and assit in any way they can they are doing a great service to the gambling community.
Would be nice if we had a collect button at the end of the day though /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hyper.gif
Robert, just curious as to how you did find these games?
Admin has a thread in the Welcome Forum enquiring how people came across the games/web board. It's just good to hear how people are happening across the site...
