Just curious Mr Admin...Given there are going to be 4 and 6 reel versions of the same game, would it be possible to have a pop up question when you start the game as to whether you want to play the four or six reel version It would cut down on the number of icons on the desktop. Not sure if it can be done or has probs for you but would be nice to have.
Cheers
Paul

Its curious that you mentioned 4 reels both in your subject and message Paul, are you hinting something??
We are aware though of the desktop icon issue given the increasing number of games. Its not feasible for us to combine the 5 and 6 reel games, as memory becomes an issue because the games actually use different image sets.
We are instead working on another program to solve the issue, and will keep you posted /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

That would be great Mr Admin ...hehe I actually meant 5 & 6
reel machines. Can't type to save myself. But a 4 reeler
would be great also (4 across, 4 down) big wins for the four corners being the same leading into some form of feature.

I do and I think instead of just 4 x 4 why not add the extra line for the top bottom top bottom lines as well

I only know of one 4 x 4 real life pokie (although I am sure there are others). If you spin up four of the scatters, you get 5 free spins, and the scatters remain locked in place. If you get another scatter, you get another 5 free spins, with the new scatter locking in place also.
Could be interesting.

Personally i much prefer 6 reel over 5 reel.
Yeah greg, not sure what its called but it has an oriental theme and its the china lady and then she pops open her bamboo umbrella which locks in place like you said. Keeps going til you run outta spins or get all 12 locked into place. (seen someone get all 12 once betting maximum and he won $6000).

That's the one. I wish we could get something like that, not using the same images, of course.
I think the problem would be being able to lock individual reel positions and still let the others on the same reel spin.
Is that possible with the PM2 Engine, oh wise Admin type person??

While we cannot for obvious reasons create the same feature as on that Aristocrat game (which I don't often see played in casinos for some reason), our game engine is growing ever more flexible in what it can do. We have partially amalgamated the two systems we have running, but there is a long way to go.

No, probably not in casino type establishments.....but most of the clubs here have at least one of that particular game.

Here we have that sorta game in pubs/clubs and also in the casino. Although the casino doesnt have many of them, they always have someone on them playing them.
