Admin, any chance of getting some extra stats included in the options, such as "Games played this session" and "Number of features this session"???

The presently rather feeble stats screen is being replaced with a "Game Management Console", which will reveal much more information and present it differently.

thank you for the info Admi.also would it be possible so that the games can be windowed as not everyone has a windows key to drop them to the space bar.i hope this would not cause an overload of work for you. /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/15cool.gif

What screen resolution do you run, Peter?? 800 x 600??
Was wondering cause I run 1024 x 768 and they ARE windowed...

We have mentioned this before, but the next generation engine is graphically scalable, which means that 1024x768 will then be fullscreen. The windowed idea is a common request and is possible, the downside being that 800x600 users will have less screen area available to the game due to the title bar for the application also then being present.

No games are on Gen II yet, we just ported across the bit to convert to six reels, and also the new payout routines.

I'm doing a little bit of software imagination projection here.... knowing what the first engine can do, and seeing what PARTS of the second engine can do...and from hints from your good self of what will be possible, it seems that it will be MUCH better!!! or is my imagination off track??

Well it would be nice to think the rest of it will live up to user expectations.
There is still a long wishlist at this end though.

At the user end, you mean??
It can't do everything!! Users have to have realistic expectations. Already it does a lot more than the commercial ones, lets see THEM produce stats the way the Pokie Magic games do.
(oh, I know they produce them for administration and regulation use, but not for general consideration the way your games do).

The wishlist is our own and there is a long way to go on it yet /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Wouldn't it be great if real pokies had to display realtime stats.

Hopefully not TOO long a way to go. We are enjoying the games so much a port to PM2 must be a necessity!!
It would be great if they did, but then there would be too many people who sit and do the maths on whether their session paid back what was required by law, and so on and so on....it would be a nightmare!!

ok i have a question that kinda hard to describe lol. Are these games set to a certain screen resolution/screen area?? i ask because my screen it set to 800 x 600 pixels and my dad has his set to something like 1152 x 864 ...and when the games are opened up the dont display correctly, you have to click the minimize button at the top of game screen otherwise you get the game in top left corner with the remainder of the box being filled with the backdrop of the game. SOrry very hard to explain and can go get you a snao shot if you need more clue of what im talking about?

We must have accidentally during one rebuild set the game to maximise on open. We can easily correct this for future releases.

Is there anyway of increasing the size of the actual game window for each individual person? i have a 15" monitor and the current size fits perfectly but my dads is a 17" and the game screen then seems kinda small to him.

Ann, this means that the 2nd generation Pokie Magic will be able to be resized...the current version cannot. I run 1024 x 768 and I cannot go to full screen either. For now, your dad will just have to go with what is onscreen without resizing.

Oh...if your Dad were to go to 800 x 600, it would fill the screen, even on a 17 inch monitor. Mine does if I go to that resolution.
Who would want to though.. *grin*

ok will tell him he can change to 800 x 600 if he wants, which i think he will. But still it encuonters problems with other programs that want you to use a higher size.
Hopefully will soon get a 17" myself and will look forward to the 2nd generation pokie magic being able to be resized.
I like my whole screen being filled with these games /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

LOL. The size of the monitor doesn't really come into it, except for having a bigger view of everything.
If you have a 15 inch monitor, and run at 800 x 600, the Pokie Magic games will fill the screen, as long as the desktop does already.
If you have a 23 inch monitor, and run at 800 x 600, the Pokie Magic games will STILL fill the entire screen...it will just be a bigger view of each part...23 inches instead of 15 inches.
