If you have any hints on strategy for Barons Bonanza, or you'd like to blow off some steam about some aspect of it - do it here so others can learn from your experiences

When playing the game, in ultra fast until hitting a feature, then hitting F11 to disable ultra fast, the reel speed is always defaulted to 2. Means that the speed has to be updated to the new desired speed, each time. Would be nice if the game remembered the previous reel speed set rather than defaulting.
Along these lines, using the F3 sidebar menus, .. in Barons 6, when this is attempted during a running feature, the game dies completely and has to be restarted. Of course, if the above speed setting problem is fixed, this wouldn't be such a problem. This only happens with Barons 6, not 5 or SE.
Don't know what it is about Barons 6, but it doesn't score as well as one might expect for a 6 game versus the 5 game. :grumpy::10tantrum

When a flying Baron is 'missed', there is a penalty of the loss of a plane in the hits. This seems too severe, why subtract one after all the hard work to get the 15, raised from 10. This is a double penalty, the loss of the miss, then the penalty for the miss.. so net 2 planes are lost.

Comment: it seems odd that for Barons 6, Willem has positions 1 and 2 with same number of games played and credits within a few points of each other,.. how is that possible?

Having played the new TotemTreasure games with their auto gamble and auto roulette features, could we get an auto shoot for Barons.:!biere:

It will happen, as we move backwards rebuilding all the games.
F4 is also available in Totem Treasure - very useful during the teepee feature...

Aha... no mention was made of F4 capability in the game descriptions.

Playing Barons is a time consuming affair because of the wait for the flying barons. What would help speed up play is if in the spins when the baron is not flying, the reels would spin ultra fast .. then when the baron flys, drop the speed back to the chosen reel spin speed setting. :spin::dance:

This would be a good game for you to concentrate on in your "Dead Zone" Id say Chuck:dance:

Hey, I'm just trying to relieve the stress on the wrist caused by playing the barons over long periods due to the slow play necessary to 'hit' the flying barons. :hyper::hyper:
Gee Chuck you must hold your mouse very tight.
