PIRACY WARNING
If you are purchasing a cd containing Pokie Magic games from "Flea markets" in Australia, you are purchasing stolen software. We have not given permission for our software to be distributed in this way.

We are receiving distressing emails and letters from people concerned they have purchased the games legitimately and that their "registration codes" are not working. We automatically shut off any registration codes distributed in this way.

Please ONLY download the software online if you live in Australia, as you never know what else is lurking on those discs.

This warning does not apply to American/Canadian retail store customers, as we have a distribution agreement in place in those countries.

I found one of those guys in Melbourne at Xmas time, but he wasn't distributing a code, just selling the discs with the demos and a flyer saying to contact Pokie Magic if you wanted to purchase the game.
As he was not giving away the codes, I didn't report it...perhaps I should have. /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Thanks for your post Greg.

I should add further clarification: we are actually only interested in stopping the distribution of cd's with registration codes. Shareware discs generally are fine, but we do require advance knowledge of the release.
