PM Desktop 1.07

The new version of the PM desktop is now available:

Version 1.07 changes:

- will launch Tuts Treasure games.
- will launch all other games too (provided you accept default installation folders in all cases).
- minor cosmetic changes.
- "Refresh" button added to the various online link pages, so you can refresh each screen when you feel like it.
- Should now function properly at any screen resolution and when the application is resized as well.

Rather than amalgamate Egyptian Dreams 1 and 2 in the desktop as was previously advised, we've expanded the viewing portal to allow for this new game and around 8 more to come.

I have downloaded the new desktop and although everything works, some of the icons for the games are cut and the icons on the bottom line are missing altogether. I can still play the games if I click where the icon should be, but I cant see anything. I have uploaded a picture of the desktop to the gallery in the screenshots folder under the name "Tigerlillys desktop". I have tried completley deleting the desktop and re-downloading but got the same result. Any ideas?

The problem is rather odd. We cannot replicate it, but a new version has been produced anyway, which works a little differently.

Believe me I never have normal sorts of problems - eg my previously reported problem with Pharoas Gold 7.

I have downloaded the new desktop version and my screen still looks like my first gallery screenshot. As before everything works, I just click where I think the icon should be and the game opens. I have loaded a further screenshot to the gallery of how the screen looks after opening and closing a game. You can see all the icons, but if you close and open the desktop again it goes back to missing bits at the bottom. Weird!!!!

Have noticed that the Keno tab is missing on the new Desktop.

Love the refresh tab.

In the medium term the Desktop is being replaced by a superior alternative.

Just thought I'd say that I also had problems with Desktop 1.07...seem to keep locking some games...close the desktop and games would then run fine. Sometimes when you got it up there was just a black screen. One time it even went under the game tab inTaskbar...closed game and there was desktop. Downloaded 1.08 hoping it fixed the problem but when I got up this morning Desktop was a black screen again....can see a couple of game buttons though. Shut it down and restarted and working fine now

Not an issue with certain video drivers and/or direct x by any chance ?
This happened with certain games - a new vid card solved that issue, as the original was inbuilt and manufacturer didn't release more current drivers....
