:7weeeeeee :7weeeeeee I hope it goes and free's up air time for more interesting shows like M*A*S*H OR Happy Days:lmaoblue: :lmaoblue: :lmaoblue: . In all seriousness, I really think it should go after the latest, but others for some reason want it to stay. My say on this situation:thumb:

I've made no secret of the fact that I love Big Brother, the show is heavily edited for the 7 pm timeslot and no naughty bits as such were shown. However, if parents think that the show is not suitable for their children DON'T LET THEM WATCH IT. Parents should take responsibilty for what their children are watching, and not complain after the fact.

It doesn't take much to change the channel or heaven forbid turn the TV off.:3rofl3: :3rofl3: :3rofl3:

In fact, I have seen more of the incident of the Channel 9 6 o'clock news (including live streaming) than what Big Brother has shown.

They get some form of prize as they are evicted, the winner gets what is left of the $1,000,000 - that's been cut to under $300,000 with all the rules that have been broken by the housemates...
Most of them hope that the exposure that they get leads to something better than what they now have.. (fools or in the light of the current ratings ploy - tools...!!)

I really don't think that this is a case of not letting them watch - the 7:00pm show is very "sanitized" but....
Just wonder how you can censor what your children see/hear/read from all the forms of media given the coverage this is being given ?

I'd have been happier if the other media forms had just let this pass...

We've just installed several where I work - purely for security of the computer labs - Ours is a high risk area - A school where we do get a lot of vandalism in class time, and this is the only way we can help prevent it.. A trial early on in the year had amazing results, and, most people quickly forget that eh cameras are there.....

already ours have paid off - in the office downstairs, the cashier was "releaved" of some money. While she was serving one customer another distracted her and the first one reached over and took money she had in a receipt book near her computer.

The security guards who were monitoring the cameras met the first customer as he was making his exit:14clap: :14clap: :14clap: :14clap:

Yep totally agree with you on that one Peter!!! First thing my hubby said was "I bet those blokes were offered money to cause some scandal etc" :3rofl3: . It's a whole load of dog poo if you ask me!! Not that i'm condoning it at all .... But i dont know how this got so out of hand with her being called a victim of sexual assult when she said herself that she was laughing/giggling during it all and when BB asked her about it she said it was just a bit of fun, that she was totally fine with it and did not wish to make a complaint! So in essence she was a consenting adult not a victim.

Has to be a publicity stunt as their ratings were going down the drain fast due to putting so many boring people in the house!! I used to love BB back when they had people like Reggie, Paul, Fitzy etc .... now that hilarious entertainment!! I rekon they should evict them all and put a whole new group of people in :lmaoblue: .

Just a shame that if it is a stunt it has totally ruined these boys lives! :irked: Getting accused of sexual assult is not something that will be forgotten quickly. John's dad said he's thinking of moving back to Austria to get away from it all. :( I think that BB should have done everything possible to keep it out of the media unless it was proven 100% and charges laid!

p.s according to ROVE what apparently happened here is nothing compared to what goes on in the Sweedish BB ..... hmmm anyone know where i can tap in and watch that one live? :lmaoblue: :lmaoblue: :lmaoblue:

I watched the first BB in Australia only because my son pressured me to, and in doing so I was screening the content of the show to make sure that it was suitable for a young lad on the verge of puberty. Since then I may have glanced at an Up-Late Version, because of the lack of reasonable content we have on public TV, it's actually an incorrect statement as I don't watch it as my workstation faces away from the TV, I listen to the dribble.

As far as I am concerned they would get better publicity by blowing the house up, the entrants or prisoners are on an exponential curve in regards to age, next year we will be seeing or listening to 16year olds, that is how quickly they have pinpointed their demographics, as it is aimed at young teens who yell and whistle at any and all of the goings on in the house, be they vulgar or just plain "off the wall".

It will receive none of my attention now or in the future, I have far more interesting things to do, than listen to a bunch of teens or near teens, who think they are clever enough to run the country and funny enough to have their own comedy shows.

BIG BROTHER, WHO NEEDS IT!!!!
