I have no idea if this is a good suggestion or not.
Rather than people posting willy-nilly on the forum when they have a problem, would it be easier (for the Pokie Magic Team and for people with problems) if there were a standard form they could complete and submit??
If so, is there an easy way to do it??
Just a thought. Admin, clobber me one if it is a bad one!!

We tried it with a feedback form, but the pornbots found it.....
Still its worth considering with a blind link.

im with you greg as that way you might see your problem and be able to fix it without bogging down the team.
its a good idea in my opion but hey thats just me. /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/type.gif /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/type.gif

Pornbots?? Bugga and other such comments.
It was a thought I had after Vicki posted her problem, I went to type a response and suddenly realised that my solution may not work, step by step, if she was using a different operating system.

What about Ann's suggestion of a list of errors and how to fix them is that feasible

It could be feasible, the problems would arise because you would need a different list for each operating system, and probably each game.
The other downside is that the Pokie Magic team fix problems as soon as possible after they are encountered....which would negate the need for an ongoing list on the whole.
It is a good idea for the general problems (like "how do I put an icon on my desktop?" or "how do I change the directory I install to?" or questions like that).
Perhaps we should be adding general questions like that to the FAQ section of the forum??!!

That would be a good idea as it would save a lot of hassels in the long run and it would be easy to look up for new users and me /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

LOL. I am not sure who does the FAQ...and to be honest I haven't read them for quite some time...like over six months...
I wonder if anyone else reads them??

just a question when dino slots is brought out do you have any idea on price for the game for registered users - will you have 2 games at a discount etc

This is the first new game for a long time - all of the progressive game engine upgrades and a whole lot of time went into making it.
We are able to offer the 5 and 6 reel versions for $US15 (about AUD$23), but unfortunately are unable to offer a subsidy on this one.
For anyone that did want to purchase by credit card /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif the link is https://www.regnow.com/softsell/nph-softsell.cgi?item=7116-13

The registration server is located in the USA. Our site is hosted in Australia.

I know i know the price is very reasonable....But /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif its gonna have to wait some time before i can buy it.
$23 is alot of money when ya husband leaves ya again and ya gotta survive with 3 kids on a crabby pension.
Will have to wait and save up to see after the other 2 games are released, as it will prob be cheaper to buy all 3 at once than 1 at a time. /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif

i know the money is not much and to buy the game now then they bring out a little special is frustrating when you could have saved a few dollars, i know what its like two children on my own but i suppose what i spend when i do go pokies it seems like a worthwhile investment

We understand why specials can be frustrating. You will notice though that Egyptian Dreams 3 is still not on special 3 months after release. You can pretty much expect the same for Dino Dollars. A package WILL be available but not for about 10 weeks.

Hey Ann.
(dunno your finances, of course...but...)
If the giving up smoking is successful, you could buy the game out of your savings for the first week.
A suggestion for giving up, too. Put aside the money each day that you WOULD have spent on smokes. If you go a week, then at the end of the week, buy yourself a treat from the money you put aside.
Then go two weeks, then three weeks...and so on.
