Seems like a good idea at the time.......

Purchased an audio/video transmitter/receiver yesterday to play video stuff from the lounge to the PC in the office...

Works a treat - hooked up all the different stuff like DVD/Vid/pay tv box etc, and can watch full screen & stereo on the PC while I PM...

Gotta love it, and cost the princely sum of $55.00

I know other people love their gadgets, so I thought that a forum for the topic may be a good idea..... (hopefully it is...)

Cheers, Peter...

This one works really well.... Can stand in front of the thing and it still works fine.. But, only had it since yesterday, and haven't really put it through it's paces...
However, so far, so good.....

Cheers, Peter...

Last year I bought for $100 a thingy that sends my foxtel signal to any other tv. So we have it in the bedroom. Often we go to bed put the tv downstairs on timer and crawl into bed to watch foxtel, cheaper than getting a second set top box IMHO

I have this little USB Gizmo that allows me to put the sim card from my phone into it and then into the computer, so I can access photos etc. I do have the necessary cables for the phone, but have used it a few times at work... cost me $4.95 plus postage. :thumb:

Probably been mentioned before, but that's OK :15cool:, I don't know how we coped with USB 2.0 FlashDrives, for the storage of large files and files with a lot of graphics on them, sure we had the Floppy Disc, the smaller and harder 3.5" Disc and eventually the CD/DVD Storage Discs, but these are left far behind when you download a lot of important work onto a FlashDrive, cheap at the moment and getting cheaper by the day, my son's school will not let them use anything else, whereas about 5 years ago at TAFE we had to use the Hard (small) Discs, definitely worth the $29.95 for a 2GB Flashdrive, when you take into consideration how much a CD or DVD will hold and the space and mess that the CD's use and make, at $ for $ value give me FlashDrives, all the time, especially for the large photo files. :thumb:
