Hi Sassy, to me, your new adventure sounds exciting, :!ban_danc:!ban_danc, hope mit is having the same effect on you and that you are really looking forward to it.
:15GDAY: to those yet to arise, it shouldn't be long now considering it's a Friday.
Mitchel is a lot better, but still should have today off school, it's embarrassing asking the teacher to go for a bathroom break every 15 minutes. :)
ENJOY your day and be kind to yourselves and one another.:wave:.

Morning Joan:wavey: Having a fun time here waiting for the washing to finish :lmaoblue:
M-I-L will keep small things like jewellery I guess...rest will be kept in the family somewhere. Our problem is that after 33 years of marriage we have too much stuff of our own...not room to add a postage stamp:lmaoblue::lmaoblue:(well. would fit in a penny black if I had to:3rofl3:) At the moment the list is just being done in readiness for the inevitable...it could be a while before the move actually happens...it's getting to be necessary though. Hi all, I'm back
Cruisey morning today, have to get ready for the hard slog of tonight's shift, then I can have tomorrow off as I don't go back again until Sunday night, then I have 4 whole days off (for now - unless the phone rings).:3rofl3:
Michael, when I lived in Sydney, we took mum down to Kiama for a Sunday outing and there was a market day happening (it was a Sunday), there were these 20 or so budgies sitting on the floor of a cage all cramped in with no food or water and it was an extremely hot day, so I took the whole lot of them. We ended up having a picnic lunch and the budgies joined us. They were all inferior birds with bent legs and overgrown beaks and other problems some baby budgies have, but several of them turned out to be excellent pets and lived for quite a long time, the others coped with their lot in the aviary and gave us quite a few really lovely budgies. Felt very good about that.:!biere:

Blanche

Not real speedy with the tea towel are you Lester?:10___buttI will remember that.
Hi Michael, just caught that...the cake was making them burrow in so the dancing was brought on to get 'em moving out:lmaoblue: Off to clean up the crumbs:wavey:

Hi Joan, just caught you. It is unreal after talking about the possesions earlier. I am just aghast at the betrayal of trust. The Agency is going to be in for a very hot time!

Hope you get some joy from the agency Ol .... They have to take responsibility surely:kissing:
What a despicable act Ol, but unfortunately these things happen a bit too often. My mum was mugged last year when she was in Brisbane on holidays, some punk was watching for the elderly to withdraw money from an ATM then rode his bike at high speed past them, knocking them down and grabbing their bags. Left her with no funds for the last 2 weeks of her holiday. Took her a long time to get over it too. Only plucked up enough courage to go back again just recently.
Evening Folks:wave::wave:Amazing what some people will do to get thier kicks
Blanche
21-09-2007, 06:56 PM
Joan, Kaye, Lester:wavey: Yes Joan, the agency is toast:lmaoblue:
Hell, Kaye, that's even worse...at least no violence in our case. That's the biggie...it eats away their confidence in society.
Well, reportedly the locks all lock as they are supposed to...good to know something works in the Nation:3rofl3:al:3rofl3:
Off for a break now...thanks everyone for your kind posts:kissing:

Hi all I have a story to tell, this guy came around to see my mum and step dad about buying their car, offered them $2,000 dollars for it said he would take the car now and bring the money around when he gets paid, my step dad said, take $20 for the fuel as the car had no petrol in it, the guy drove away with their car never to be seen again, I then realized how vulnerable my parents were.
Well the guy tried to do the same again by pinching a motorbike, but the owner woke up to what he was going to do, ran him over with the car and killed him.
Ol, you are lucky that your mum was not hurt from this lowdown of a girl, money and cars are replaced our parents are not.

:!!!icon26I can't believe it the umpire should NEVER be allowed to umpire again!!!!
The last call should have been a Collingwood Free kick on Goal.
Not a Ball up. The Umpire Must have needed to make sure that Collingwood did not have a chance to get into the Final...
Not a Happy Camper here in SA.:!!!icon26
