Dianne I think the market is picking up my daughter just sold her house last week in bendigo, this is the best time of year to sell.

Hope you're right...If nothing has eventuated within the next couple of months my family want me to make the move anyway and leave it in the agents hands...they don't want me to be here on my own again this Xmas so that's probably what I'll end up doing...will just have to wait and see, taking one day at a time for the moment..

I am sorry about that Susan, but I have cruelled "The cheque's in the mail line" ages ago and then I started on the IOU's as well, but Julie knew from the start that I wasn't about to honour that DEBT OF GRATITUDE, no matter what I said or did, after all our 'Spirit of Tasmania' didn't come down in the last shower.
:w7: :w7: :w7:.
Morning all :wavey:
Was so looking forward to my 4 days off until I heard the weather forecast which was for rain the next 4 days, wouldn't you know it, want to get a spot of fishing in one day at least  will just have to wait and see.
Hope everyone is well and happy this dismal Monday, sun was shining brightly at 8am but the wind whipped up those nasty looking black clouds from somewhere :!!!!yello will have to get the giant turbo fan out and blow them back up the coast to Lester.:lmaoblue::lmaoblue:

It's not in my house it is going in the business, hope I dont give the guests nightmares with the black vinyl, we have enough with the mare in the paddock:laughing:
That's okay then Susan, should look good with the whitegoods as you said, certainly will be different anyway.:thumb:

Well I have plain white walls and ceiling plus the white goods, black and white looks :15cool: has a grey fleck through the black it is expensive so I hope I like it. $900 just for a laundry of 126x250.
Sounds good to me Susan, I'm sure it will look great (better for that sort of money)

I suppose you have heard on the news Joan that Myer are going to pay all 200 employees indefinately, thought that was a magnificent gesture (and sure they can afford it), employees from similar incidences in smaller businesses wouldn't have been so lucky.

I think they will find work for the staff or a temp place to house the business in the short term, they wont want to be shut down for too long. be interesting to see how much damage is done to the surrounding businesses tho, hope they are not to badly affected. hope everyone is having a good day on this wet monday morning.

I put a white tile effect interlocked with a black diamond in my bathroom and against the whitegoods it does set things off.. I did look at the black marble but thought with powder flying around it would be mostly grey:3rofl3:
Great news for the myer employees too.. as you say not many employers would do that..
Just on smoko here, cant say what Im doing but im in the kitchen:3rofl3::3rofl3::3rofl3:

What a great public relations policy that is:thumb:....sure will boost the morale for those staff.....especially this time of year:thumb:.....awfull shame though for heaps of others who wont be that fortunate as you say Dianne......people have been speaking quite openly this morning about their time at Myers .....mostly people in my era of working there from... day 1... back in 1959 ..we came from the Murray St shop.... Johnston and Millers... to Brownells which became the Liverpool St main shop..... when Myers took these 2 shops over......plenty of excitement in the air there was then........wasnt going to mention any more about it:3rofl3:.......as when I do the flood gates seem to open each time:3rofl3:.....I suppose that speaks for its self doesnt it... what a good time it was:cheers:

Can understand that Joan, one gets quite sentimental at such times. Hope there isn't too much damage to surrounding businesses too because doubt they will be paid for their time off.
