Mega hearts 2

Does anyone know what the Bonus Shifter is supposed to do in the Super Teddy feature of Mega Hearts 2? It has an arrow, but I can't work out what it does.:confused::confused::confused:

Golden Heart bonuses appear on the last reel. A new bonus is added - the "Bonus Shift". If it appears then from that spin on Golden Heart bonuses can appear on the next reel left - all the way to the first reel if you get enough Bonus Shift bonuses!

Thanks for that Patrick, but what happens if you get all the way to the first reel? Does it pay any more? I haven't been able to work out what happens.
