Testing Vote Removed

I have removed the vote for the testing of Pokie Magic games.

The decision on who (if anyone) tests Pokie Magic games resides wholly and solely with the Pokie Magic Administration.

Bankers Bullion shouldn't be too far away. Having said that, I have no inside information, just picking up on general comments from Admin.

Critturs will probably be quite a while away. From what I have picked up here and there, there are problems with the game that prevent it's imminent release, which is why Dino Dollars, Highland Fling 6 reel and Golden Dragon 6 reel and soon Bankers Bullion have been advanced in the release queue.

Wasnt trying to cause any problems, But I strongly believe the way it apparently is now being done ( Via AO Forum ) Is unfair. Also I would like to say ( and I am sure many will agree ) That this type of poll that I set up was both reasonable, fair and productive.

All of us here mainly signed on to be able to test the games as they come through at some stage. Doing this has enabled us to also meet and chat with both friends and made aquaintances.

The the bottom line is to test the games you needed to register and provide feedback on the games. This as a whole has been done by most users here to the point where some games have been changed, fixed or even created.

The poll would provide Admin if noone else an idea of what the forum registered users feel should be done about who tests when why how what.

The poll did cover all possible choices and making no bias comments.

I feel by removing the poll you have just taken our sole right to choose, say or direct Admin in the right direction to insure that everyone understands why changes have been made, Admin is aware of where everyone stands on situations like this etc.

I honestly feel that removal of the poll I created is quite honestly a slap in the face to those like myself that would like to continue testing games and to say something about the idea of making game testing allowed for AO forum members only and who may feel that 1 voice alone among many will get missed.

I hope that all is OK with Admin, Been some stressing times lately. Seems to want to help everyone and sometimes it hard to please everyone and displease noone.

I believe the complicated programing nature of Critters is causing some problems that they need to get around, they are trying to get Bankers Bullion out as soon as possible to sooth the itchy and cold pokiemagic pokie finger that we all seemed to have adopted during that past few game tests we have been part of.

I guess they know we are all eager and Xmas is coming around ( maybe another seasonal release to create ) Fathers day ( possible another one to create ) etc. Hehehehehe, poor guy, he is being hit by hordes of users basically asking the same questions and has to repeat it 3 million times.

He needs a break, Hopefully on his triuphant return we will have another game to keep use pokiemagic junkies quiet for a little while.

I can see your reasoning behind the poll. I am not sure on how the Team would feel about it though, but I do understand you didnt mean it to be offensive. We shall just have to wait and see what Mr Admin decides to do about it on his return...

Hi Russell.

The removal of the poll was done purely by me, (nothing to do with Admin) in my role as moderator for this part of the forum...and it is very possible that Admin will restore it on his return.

You will have to bear with me on this one, as I am still learning my responsibilities as a moderator....I would rather remove something and have Admin tell me I went overboard than not remove something and have Admin tell me I was remiss in my responsibility as a moderator, especially when he can restore it if appropriate. I hope you understand this.

the problem, as I see it, is that it is not only registered owners of Pokie Magic games that can vote...ANYONE who accesses the forum can vote, whether they be owners of Pokie Magic games or just visitors...this (in my view anyway, remember I am NOT a Pokie Magic team member) is unfair to those of us who have forked out our hard-earned bikkies and thereby paid for some priveliges.

Thats cool. I can see where you are coming from. Hehehehehe could say it was also an attempt to strike up a bit of talk about the whole matter not to mention a very weak attempt at finding out what are the real requirements to get into the AO forum. Fortunately although I failed to complete the latter part of my mission it has sparked some conversation about it all. I really dont feel it would be fair to allow only one group to test the games. I feel that most of the testers ( non purchasers ) have supplied valuable details and insight to what the games need and whats wrong with them. This is done totally volunterally due to having the honour of such an important role. But the rules were to become a TESTER you must register in the forum, doing this not only allowed these people to test the games but to also meet, talk, learn and participate in the growth of the games. Most of these people decided they wanted to test the games not to get free tries at them if you know what I mean. To take that away from forum members like me seems little unfair thats all. I regularly participate in testings and give results, conclusions, creative ideas, names for games, themes and possible improvements. I am happy to say to anyone I know, who have seen the games on my PC etc that I am a tester for Pokiemagic and the games they produce.

As you can see, I am affectively trying to remedy that situation. However being comically offensive might provide a challenge, I am really a nice guy. They are few and far between but I guess I will have to get to know everyone a little more before I start saying things that are funny because I just dont know how far to go with anyone yet.

But I will give it a try. Perhaps in a few days I will try out my newly learnt talents after I go through all the posts 1 by one to see what others have done. Maybe I might choose you as my first victim hehehhehehehe.
