We were wondering what is the longest time people have run any particular game without stopping.

We have run some games for hundreds of thousands of spins, but it can take days on end to do it.

(please exclude any unscheduled interruptions from your calculations ie crashes /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif )

If you do plan to upgrade, its well worth it.

XP runs so much better.

We tried putting XP on this PC but it didnt seem to work. Its a Packard Bell (onboard) And the disks i got with this PC is Windows 98 already on the recovery disk. Think its time for a new PC? hehe

Well the old high score ($360,000 somethin) on BB6 i had came from running it for 36hrs straight.

36hrs is about all this pc can take then i have to reboot it.

Hi Admin. I left my game running for 2-3 hrs and the same message came up again and i took a screenshot of it.

Thank you. Whilst the message seems polite, it is still annoying and will be investigated.

It must be frustrating for some users who spend hours playing (look at the top two scores on BB6 reels right now for example), only to find that after thousands of spins their score is unable to beat a score landed by another user in only a few spins.

Thems the breaks /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

....make that BB5, not BB6.

For example, take a look at Sue's score in SS6 and my score in SS6.

Sure, I have a higher score, but it took Sue 360 odd spins...and me 9600 odd.

As you said, Admin, them's the breaks!! /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Nah, just makes it more fun.

I actually don't play to beat everyone else....just my own high scores. That has two advantages
1. I dont really care (well, except for Dragon) if anyone is ahead of me on the high scores, and
2. I dont get so frustrated.

Besides that, I have next to no chance of getting a high score overall, so I don't worry about it.. /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3rofl3.gif /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3rofl3.gif /webboard/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/3rofl3.gif
