Highscores logo Playing the games is fun, but its even more fun when you can complete against others from around the world. The highscores system collects highscores from registered players and ranks users accordingly.

How do I know I have a highscore?

When playing any game, if you win from either a single spin or a feature is greater than your previous best credit win, you have a new highscore. A "H" will show in the menubar (the top of the game window, after where it shows the number of spins you have played).

How do I send my highscore?

You can send your highscore automatically from any game you have registered and are participating in highscores in. To send a score, you can either click on the "H" mentioned above, or you can open the Bank screen and press "Send my Highscore" from there.

You can view the online highscores in several different ways:

Click here to see the game rankings. This page will show in one place the current leaders for all games. It also shows the last 20 or so highscores received by the system and who sent them in.

Click here to see the performance rankings. This is the most competitive part of the highscores - all players are ranking by their overall performance in the highscores (which takes into account how many games they are playing, how many credits they are winning and also what their average ranking is in each game). As of December 2005, a yearly highscores winner will be announced. That person gets to keep their crown until December 2006.

The rankings show how many games a user is playing, how many spins they have played, what country they are from and their individual PPI - which is simply a convenient number to compare the performance of different users. The overall leader will often change several times a week, showing just how competitive the highscores are.

Who is eligible to join the highscores system:

Any registered user of any game is welcome to join the highscores system subject to acceptance by Pokie Magic. Simply send an email here to request access. You need to let us know what highscores username you would like - usually a nickname. You may not use your full name. In case the name is already taken, feel free to suggest alternatives. Highscores are linked to the progressive jackpots and other online systems - if you have a highscores username you can automatically play the jackpots as well.

When you purchase a game online through Regnow and use the same email address, you are automatically set up for highscores access for that new game.

How do I change my highscores username?

Click here to change your highscores username. This is a secure web page which will allow you to change your highscores name at any time. You will need a password, which we will advise to you. You can be creative when changing your username, but we don't allow naughty words!

Want to be part of a highscores alliance? Join a highscores team today! See the teams rankings here.

Warning: if you change your highscores username and someone takes the name you had and keeps it, you will not be able to get it back.

Highscores Resets:

All highscores are removed at the end of every second month - to allow the competition to start afresh. Resets occur at the end of December, February, April, June, August and October. When a reset occurs, you need to send one score from any game to the server. When you do this, the server will reset all of the highscores on your computer to zero and you can then compete in the new competition.

Chatting about Highscores:

Click here to discuss your highscores in the dedicated place in the Pokie Magic forums to discuss your scores, those of others, and make suggestions for improvements for the system.
